Stephanie Castillo, LMFT

Clinical Supervisor

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #134246

Stephanie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor who brings warmth, attunement, and authenticity to her work with clients and clinicians. She understands that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable and sometimes overwhelming, and she is intentional about creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and deeply respected. Stephanie believes the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful and lasting change, and she approaches each session with curiosity, compassion, and a genuine interest in understanding her clients’ lived experiences.

Stephanie has worked with children, young adults, adults, couples, and families navigating a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief and loss, major life transitions, financial stress, and relational challenges. Her clinical style is collaborative, flexible, and responsive, shaped by each client’s unique needs, goals, and cultural context rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. She integrates trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices to help clients make sense of their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their inherent resilience and strengths.

Stephanie supports clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more fulfilling relationships, while honoring the complexity of their personal histories and current circumstances. She works at a pace that feels supportive and empowering, partnering with clients as they explore patterns, build insight, and move toward greater clarity and well-being.

As a Clinical Supervisor, Stephanie is dedicated to fostering the professional and personal growth of emerging therapists through a relational, reflective, and collaborative supervisory process. She values transparency, ethical integrity, and shared learning, and she creates a supportive environment where supervisees can thoughtfully explore their clinical work, professional identities, and areas of growth with confidence and care.

Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, and her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach.
