Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #49976
Satwinder is a seasoned marriage and family therapist and certified clinical supervisor who brings presence, curiosity, and care to her work. She believes healing happens in relationship—with oneself, with others, and within the systems that shape us—and is committed to creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported in their full humanity.
With over 20 years of experience, Satwinder has worked with individuals, couples, and families across a variety of settings, and has spent more than a decade mentoring emerging clinicians. Her practice is rooted in trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and gender-affirming practices. She approaches each client with warmth and deep respect for the unique stories shaped by identity, culture, and lived experience.
Satwinder draws from a wide range of modalities, including trauma-focused CBT, DBT, attachment-based therapy, emotionally focused therapy, narrative therapy, and systems approaches. She has extensive experience supporting clients through mood and anxiety disorders, relational challenges, life transitions, and parent-child struggles.
She earned her master’s degree in counseling with a marriage and family therapy emphasis from San Francisco State University, where she deepened her commitment to relational and culturally responsive clinical work.
